    Default Spinner rings

Hi I am having difficulty in sizing spinner rings. I made one up which was 12mm wide in silver and I reckoned it needed to be at .least one size up from the persons normal size if I had been sizing for a thinner ring. The base of the ring fitted the person but once I put the spinners on and bevelled out the ends the ring was too big. My question is does the ring stretch in size when you bevel out the ends to keep the spinner rings on.

You can easily check Edele. The centre of the band should coincide with the size mark on your ring stick. Dennis.

Thanku Dennis it seems to have enlarged but I didn't check it beforehand. I just wondered if this was the case but will check the next one I make before I splay the edges.

Check the band size before you splay. But also go easy on the splaying.
What method do you use? Dennis.

I used to use a doming punch, but the last ring I made I used the durston spinner ring tool so maybe that stretches the inside a bit more. Also the rings were a bit tight once I had used the tool.
