This reminds me of when a man applied for a job as a labourer on a construction site. The forman opened a shed and said take your pick and the man had a nervous breakdown.
Hubby bought me an antique rolling mill for my birthday (not until August, but it's a big one!) It's a thing of beauty, needs a good clean and a bit of TLC, but the rollers seem in decent condition and I love it simply as an object. Made in Birmingham around late 1890s by Mark Morton & Son.
Before I clean the rollers properly, I plan to roll some pieces of copper and silver through it, to preserve some of its past.

It'll never be as clean and tidy again, but that's good too. Dennis.
