Being Prepared.
I know that come November, we will be asked to contribute to our class display of jewellery. So like a good scout, I have made these three pairs of earrings to avoid a last minute rush.
They are of roughly equal length, using mainly 1.2mm square wire and some 3.0mm tube set CZs to add sparkle.
The components for the jagged one needed to be arranged as a mirror image and I discovered quite by accident, that using a hexagonal template gave enough guidance to do that. The darts of mica are there temporarily, to support the trapezoid shapes for soldering. Dennis.

Cool designs Dennis!
Especially love the last pair with the 3 shapes.

Very nice - and precise as your work always seems to be! Good tip re the mica for support while soldering.

Thank you Sarah and Alan. I've tried to make them a little bit different and hope they will go into the glass case with their perspex stand.
They are also a bit more 3D than the picture shows. I suppose I should have opened the aperture more. Dennis.

Yup, another vote for the last pair, really eye catching design!!

Like the geometrics (a chum would go nuts for those), but I love the middle pair.

Thank you Lydia, they are my favourites too. Eventually they are going to Spain, where they wear more edgy stuff.
As the earring count is going up, I shall also take this Muji organiser, which I think is good value for what it does.

Dennis - is the Mica you used the same as they sell for Microwaves?
