    Default Butterfly Clock

This month's competition is Natural world, as I won last month's competition I will not be entering this month's, but as most of my work has involved designs relating to the natural world I thought I would post this photo of a butterfly clock that I made over 30 years ago. It stands 300mm. tall and is made from 18ct. gold and rock crystal, all butterflies are hand pierced, plique a-jour enamelled and set with diamonds.
Sorry if I have posted this photo in the past.

Don't apologise, I haven't seen it and I'm still picking my jaw up of the floor it's such an exquisite bit of work! I think I could have several lifetimes and not get near to that standard of craftsmanship!

Goodness me, that is just super stunning I was gingerly considering putting a picture of a piece into that (mostly because I have never really shown my work to other jewellers which would be lovely and quite scary and doing something that scares you occasionally has to be a good thing) however if that is the calibre of work - I'm not quite sure I will have the nerve. Just amazing :-)
