That's fun. not surprised you enjoyed making it, Kim.
Wow, great entries so far!
I've not entered on here before, but thought I'd give it a go, so please be gentle with me!
This piece is a sterling silver and oxidised copper charm pendant on a 28 inch sterling silver chain with faceted glass beads. I hope you'll class the ladybird and flowers/leaf as tropical...
Good luck everyone!
Very sweet Karens and the leaf could definitely be a banana leaf!
Please be gentle with me too as this is my first entry and I have only just plucked up courage
This is a representation of an Indonesian Swallowtail butterfly created using chasing & repousse. The inspiration came from a picture I saw while I was trying to decide what to make. I used 0.8mm britannia silver and the piece measures approximately 110mm x 75mm. I really enjoyed making this and am quietly hooked on both the process and butterflies!

That's lovely Ada! I'm very impressed, not least because I've been doing this for an awful lot longer and have never got to grips with chasing or repousse.
Karen - I'm also very keen on the ladybird (and of course the banana leaf!)
Thank you George for your kind and encouraging comment
