wedding bands
I've finished my daughter's wedding & engagement band in 18ct white gold and am quietly pleased. Its the first time I've worked with a precious metal other than silver.
The cut line represents some of the peaks of Snowdonia, the stones represent the Heather Terrace footpath with Tryfan above where my future son in law proposed. They are both climbers and are members of NEWMC so the design into the rings reflects them so well.
The wedding is the Jubliee weekend and hallmarks will be added once the special jubliee mark is released.
I'm still getting over the shock of having made them. I still have to make the grooms yet, the metal comes this week and its Palladium, more playing in The Garden Shed

They are 1mm, I practiced on CZ to improve my setting. I posted a picture last year of the 1st flush setting I'd done & these are better. I used my magnifiying 'binoculars' and making glasses to set them, but I realised that one setting needed a little tweek once I'd photograhed them with my macro lense! I tried to capture the flash of the stones as they have a nice colour but that was really difficult. I'm going to have to look into that.

I love rings that fit together in unusual ways and these are so unique. Really lovely.

echoing what everyone else said. Beautiful rings.
Tryfan is the mountain that nearly ended my marriage, so I had to smile.
