Aquamarine and CZ ring
Hi everyone,
This is another ring iv been working on today, its really dainty, i used the new beaded wire from cooksongold, and some 1mm round wire, plus some 0.30mm wire for my swirls, I used a pear shape Aquamarine, and a 3mm cubic zirconia.
-
Niamh, I think it is a lovely ring. Particularly like the delicate swirls.
-
I like the swirls too
-
Thank you both! xx I think i figured out a good way to do them now which i was pleased with because i couldnt do it very well before, im making another ring soon with gold and silver wire, i have some 3mm rubies to play with and a few oval stones, What stone do you think would work well with Ruby please Enigma and TDA20? x

Either a very pale pink or white would look nice
-
Lovely job.
Clear (white) as Sarah mentions, but also green works well with red. Think of poppies and grass (when it is green!)
-
Agree Wallace! I did a ring with a green sapphire and a ruby at the customers request and they work really well together.
Green tourmaline and ruby is nice too.
-
Ruby and white is a timeless classic combo but I also like the idea of adding green for contrast. If you're looking for analogous rather than complimentary colours amethyst might work? Can't wait to see the final product Niamh
