    Just unscrew the grub screw and reverse the point so that the flat end shows. Then you can just smooth the edges and leave it at that, or give it a flatter shape, like a bezel pusher.
    It is quite fierce , so will need the lowest speed and not much pressure.

    Caroline, the pliers are the gentlest of all setting tools for tubing. You just tickle the edges of the setting, without any stress to, say thin wires they might be soldered to. Dennis
