Default This is the necklace that i finally put to paper

I decided i would show you the design that a few weeks ago just would not become clear enough to put to paper.

I dont want it to be flat i want it to be domed all the way down the serpents body but i also want it to curl around the chain thereby supporting itself. I want the chain to come through the mouth end locking it ont the chain and i want it to look like it is about to eat the teardrop crystal/stone hanging at the centre. I should also like it if two tiny stones could be mounted for eyes or something to produce colour there.

I originally just wanted the single serpent to just come down one side, but drew the other options, even tho i still favour the one sided one for just being a little different, i also included a very very rough ring and earrings.

This will involve an awful lot of techniques - the doming, the spiralling and the setting and i dont know which order anything should be done in. Nic once asked me to draw a picture so that you might be able to advise me on a) whether its possible and b) what order the processes should be done in.
Pictures not ultra clear as is usual for me but i hope you can just about see it.

I would try to shape it first before you twist it as once twisted it would be harder to reach the inner bits, shape it first then anneal to make the twisting easier.
