Believe there's a new Screw fitting being launched at the conference too.
I think it will allow you to do things like change elements on rings etc
by just screwing them onto the fine silver embeddable thread

more info on copper clay on metal clay academy. fires kiln only 30 min at 970 (and my kiln only goes to 900 )

Silver Clay Lite, is part glass, only 92% silver when fired so is much cheaper. However it is a little more brittle so not suitable for rings. It also feels much lighter to hold apparently.....

Will it not fire at a slightly lower temp for longer?

    Default Silver Clay lite

I heard that this fires at 750C for just 10 minutes but can only be kiln fired. It also looks as if it is quite fragile as they don't recommend shaping it with a hammer!

You can also now buy copper and bronze clay in powder form, which you mix as required, again I think it is only available from the States but fingers crossed.
