I would love to go on a stone setting course, could anyone recommend a really good course /tutor, I would rather not travel too far ( I live in Derbyshire) so I would be looking at a couple of hours in the car maximum.
Thanks
Lisa

Actually now that you mention it, I wouldn't mind going on one as well. I live in Nottingham so hopefully we could find somewhere suitable for us both to go, although I may have to go by train as my car is not up to journeys of more than a couple of miles.

All things are possible - if you look at them the right way!
"In the Studio" do stone setting courses, the tutors very good (from other students) and I intend to go on one (eventually)

It was a two day intro to Jewellery Making at "In the Studio" that got me hooked, I haven't been back only because it is quite expensive, but it was an excellent so maybe I need to rethink and ask OH if I could have a course for my Christmas pressie ( do you remember when you used to ask for shoes and handbags? )
There's a discounted course on with H J Walsh £100 saving but it's down south...and on the 24th & 25th Sept (next week).
Details can be found on their main website
