    I dont have a choice with 3 kids but to do it but i have fought my corner and for the first time in countless years we are spending it at home, not sure weather to jump for joy or kick myself very hard know!

    OMG, I know what you mean. Christmas is SO overrated and has become so commercialised that its become detatched from the real meaning of the event - not that I'm in any way religious! I seem to remember going Xmas shopping as a child in the week before Xmas and then putting up and decorating the tree on Xmas eve !

    We have gone away for Xmas before with friends and everyone mucked in, which was nice, but its all such a load of hassle. This year, its Oxfam Unwrapped for the relatives and a few bits and pieces and not much else! oh and a log fire.....

    Well i will be doing xmas as i have 2 children,, I love their faces when Santa has come but well lets just say all of 10 or 15 mins then its all over....... totally overated i would rather have a curry
