Bail 9ct yellow gold

Hey Guys,
Need help,any tips how to put bail on 9ct nugget yellow gold.I melted the scrap here,just need to put bail on.

Nuggets tend to be porous and absorb solder, so melt a little surplus solder on the bail instead. Then keep the two in close contact and re-heat the nugget until the solder flows. Dennis.
