Its usually has nickel. copper, zinc ,lead and anything else they can find to put in it that is not silver or precious lol.

You can get magnetic shot that's stainless, that's how a magnetic pin polisher works the pins are stainless too. you can also get magnetic Platinum as well if it has cobalt in it !

Yes from the mould of the master, but the copies will all be the same size this shrinks again because your making a wax copy for the second time. most of the shrinkage is in the wax injection.

How hot is the water in the machine ? It needs to be room temp apparently from memory those machines are set at 40 deg C. but that could of changed this could possibly have an effect
