Hello.... de funked too many micro torches (leaky etc). A large bucket of sand is useful. Currently running off propane bottled gas with needle flame head.
Might go with butane as it may be cleaner...

It is a bit too big to put hot into acid bath...but, the staining from burnt pitch does come off if left in long enough in safety pickle though...prefer to clean with pumice powder and stiff bristle...

Thanks for replying. Not sure what 'Go system' is... by 'Taymar' ...resealable, removeable, threaded butane/propane gas canister torch. I use a 'Taymar' type torch and also one of the small butane...
