I use and adapt the thin wooden 'sticks' that some coffee chains supply for stirring coffee or wooden kebab skewers. Wrap emery, wet and dry or whatever around, secure with masking tape and file away.
Is it legal to own that gun?

I am so sorry to hear this. She was always so helpful and friendly. Many of us will miss her. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.
Brilliant idea! Many thanks for this.
Thanks, girls and guys, for this and all the other useful stuff on the forum. I might not post very often but I do read a lot and pick up so much useful information.
Might even get round to...
Thanks, Dennis. Good tip, I'll try that!
I have recently set up my own sponsor's mark with Birmingham and found them very helpful and willing to guide you through the process. The expensive bit were the two punches (0.5mm and teeny weeny)...
Greetings
It's the wire wrapping thing that I bought a couple of years ago because it looked "interesting". You know, the "I must have one of those" moments. (See Cooksons website...
Thanks, Dennis, for the information (and for all the other posts you have contributed) - I have wondered what to do with all the bits and bobs that came with the small hand drill I have.
Also, I...
Seems OK to me but I haven't tried it on Firefox yet. I've found it easy enough to explore and if it resolves the missing baskets issue then that's fine by me!
Amen to that!
Hi
I know the problem. I just have a corner of the "spare" room and am using a small computer table and a small bookcase which holds storage boxes (and books) and tools. I've adapted different...
Also remember Cooksons(and others) freepost weekends and offers. I've found it not only saves a load when ordering heavy and hazardous stuff but sometimes waiting for the next one to come along means...

Archie (on the left) and Charlie (on the right). They came with something much fancier than that but I thought "New start, new name". Charlie seems the right name for the Teddy Rustler but I don't...
Sorry not to reply earlier - been distracted by work but they pay me for it (and having just received a VERY large bill for repairs on my four year old low mileage car...).
I don't have any...
My first cat, Mitten, used to sleep like that on the back of the sofa. As he got older he used to fall off with a sort of woolly thud as he hit the carpet.
Is the little guy named yet? Friend has...
Odd how people differ. Some folk think that anything hand made is a "cheap" option and seem completely unaware of the time and effort that might have been put in - let alone the cost of the...
I've just voted for least worst (in my opinion) and know whatever the outcome I'm not going to feel good about it. "The Scream" comes to mind.
Think I'll go to bed early tonight and bury my head...
I've found this thread quite reassuring! My first attempt with a bezel setting the side split at the join when I was soldering it onto the base, then it was off centre when I soldered it onto the...
Hi, daisychain
I've looked on your website (and rather like what I have seen!). I wish I could make your keum boo workshop but Southampton is a bit far for a day trip from Nottingham. Could you...
Could we see some more of your work, Celia - I'm sure you would be an inspiration for us all.
