I forgot to say - I was thinking of buying the new Heetrix soldering pad and you can remove the soldering mat and fill it with soldering grain if you wish - but where do you buy the grain???:'(
Yes I do mean soldering grain so you can support fiddly things together while you solder them. It seems odd if Cookson's don't have any??
