    I import a few Sterling Silver Earrings from China and the supplier suggests they are Sterling Silver however doesn't specifically state the word "solid", they are stamped 925 on the hook...

    yes George, Hong Kong is a good place for supply of such items, so is mainland China as long as you get samples sent first for quality checking then there are generally no issues.
