Wonder if these might help you as they seem to do metal bead racks for raku kilns...http://www.ceramatech.co.uk/6.html
With PMC/ACS being the price it is now I would advise saving up for a controllable kiln to minimise accidents. Google search 'pmc firing data' and you will get a lot of info on the 'how to fire'...
Don't pickle your fine silver though, it doesn't need it and PMC won't thank you for it
Thanks for your reply Julie. That was pretty much the way I read it. I just wanted someone else to agree with me! I have read all through Kate's site and many others and they do say a digital...

I've had a quick try to see if it would work and it seems to work with my earrings. Cut a small piece 1cm or less off a drinking straw and slide it over the earwire down towards the beads. If you...
I can't afford most of your kit but I will be making myself an eye level piercing support ( I can just about afford the ply wood!) What a brilliant idea!
Found a huge list of free tutorials so thought i'd share. Mainly beading but also chain maille, metal clay and others. Not looked at many but seem to be for all levels of ability. This is the link ...

Have tried to help but seems it can't pass through 'customs'! In case it doesn't appear here is the info without the links. I suggested Palmers for sterling silver. Empire Beads for other metals.
