I use the rubberflex burrs on a pendant motor (but they work fine in a dremel too)

Firstly you shouldn't really be firing sterling silver in with the silver clay...
The 850 temp needed for strength combined with the length of time for proper firing weakens the sterling structure...

If it's flat enamel you could try thermal shock....
Heat the piece red hot then quickly drop into a steel pot filled with iced water
if that doesn't work then some folks have found that using cream...
If you solder them on make sure the area you're soldering is well burnished
as the metal clay is more porus than sheet metal.
