Gorgeous! Really beautiful. How big is it? Always tricky to tell in photos.
Gorgeous cuff. I'd be proud to wear a piece like that!
Beautiful! Post more pics soon.
Drool! I love the depth in the cab. Lovely.
So sorry about your mum. I hope you're doing OK.
Your ring is wonderful. Well done.
When I signed up it was Glasgow metropolitan college but it's just changed to the city of Glasgow college. It's a ten week class. Three hours every Saturday morning. Had my second class today. Had my...
Thank-you! It's great for someone with a sweet tooth like me. You can always tell what they're making by the smell in the air - sometimes baking biscuits, sometimes toasting coconut and often my...
I'm more geared up for beading and pmc at the moment. And don't have wads of spare cash. I've just taken advantage of cooksons' freepost offer to buy my materials for the rest of the course but will...
Hi all,
I had my first Saturday morning silversmithing class yesterday and had a great time. The people seem lovely, the tutor knowledgeable and we all left with a piece of jewellery by the end...
Congratulations! Can't wait to see the pieces. Bit too far from Surray to come to the showcase but I hope it goes well.

For myself - I know I'm not great with numbers and...
Wow! I don't like bugs but those are brilliant. Maybe someday......
Hi and welcome!!!
Good luck Wendy! I know how you feel. I start my Saturday morning course on 2 October and can't wait!!!!!
Thank you - that really means a lot! I'd love to get to stage where I could make something like that from scratch. I probably could have spent even more time on the finishing but the text isn't that...
Yes indeedy! Should have said!:">
Once I managed to find Lovehearts (who knew how tricky that'd be!) I picked the ones with clearest text and used them to make moulds out of siligum. There's probably a better way but it did the job!
Hi all,
Just thought I'd post some photos of the cufflinks I made my husband for our wedding. My instinct was to LOS them but hubby wasn't keen on that effect when I showed him something else so...
Thank-you Nic - I thought you'd be the woman with the answer! They both look great - although my skill level is proably closer to the shape of the glass one than the faux bone one!! I'll have a bash...
Hi folks,
I've had the slightly barmy idea of trying to make a little trinket box to keep my wedding and engagement rings in when I take them off at night. At the moment I just leave them loose...
