    Interested in using lengths of tiny ball chain (cookson has some 1.2mm stuff) in earring designs. Am i naive in thinking i can just solder some tiny jump rings to the ends?

    I wondered that so the whole earring is designed to be washable. Did ask a jewellery shop too and she wasn't worried about it. They're not going to be something you wear regularly I think ;)
