Hey from Ireland :)
Hello everyone :)
After finishing my metals degree in 2007, I have had a bit of a dry spell in the ol' making department, a 5 year one to be exact! I was meant to go travelling around the world for just one year but got a wee bit carried away, so here I am back home again deciding to bite the bullet and start making jewellery again, it's the only career I can imagine myself doing so I think it's about time I got cracking on it and meet some like-minded metalers like yourselves :)
A couple of months ago I found some scrap metal from my uni days, got it melted down and was able to invest in a nice bench on wneal services website (little bargain), and some new tools from Cooksons to add to my old ones. So I am just building up the courage to get making again and I'l be coming here for some advice and banter along the way :)

Hello!
I had an eight year break after graduating (I had a little tinker at the bench now and again, but that's about it) and have now finally taken the plunge to start my own jewellery business.
I didn't do anything so exciting as travel though - I became a legal secretary!
