I saw a thread where Mr Bond recommended a DVD by Blaine Lewis, I googled it and was impressed by the reviews, but sooo expensive, therefore I wondered if anyone had any other recommendations for jewellery making dvd's where I won't have to sell a kidney to purchase?

there are quite a few on ganoksin as well.
Ganoksin is fab!!! (Make sure you spell it right) I love Louis_F_Moreno's box demos!
I like some of his stuff, but find some of it a bit primitive. That sounds more critical than I mean it to, but I can't think of a better word. I wish some of the finishing was better though. I think the boxes, and some of the clasp demos are great, but I'm not keen on the beads and chains. Some great examples of what you can do with very few tools though :)
Trouble with my laptop is that it is supplied by by my employer and it won't let you view the clips on You Tube or Ganoskin ( bah humbug!) I guess I am just going to have be nice to my son so that I can borrow his laptop!

Ha ha I know what you mean George, but I suppose I mean his techniques in general. They are so quicky and dirty - and yes I wouldn't be able to sell them in that condition, or without tidying them up a bit more. It depends on what your learning style is - I love written instructions with a few pictures (like your magazine tutorials) so I can read and read until I understand them, but seeing something done is just as good and to be able to pause and rewind or just watch and watch again is brilliant. Who or which Benchtube vids do you recommend? I must admit I haven't been through many of them.

Having watch him turn scrap silver in the most stunning objects, well worth watching.
