Where to buy thick copper wire

Hello All,
I am trying to source AWG 6g copper wire (4 to 4.5mm diameter). Everything is either stranded, rather than solid, or I have to by huge amounts from an engineering firm.
I've tried the usual suspects (like wires.co.uk, ebay etc), but most places only stock up to 2mm.

Any help would be great !

I don't know if this will help...I haven't done the conversion from imperial to metric but it does have 4mm on page 2. We used to get supplies from here for college so I don't think they only do bulk orders. Milton Keynes Metals - COPPER ROUNDS

Cool. Thanks for that, the site looks promising and looks like they sell in metres at a time. Also, I think they are about 1 hour away from me so I could buy loads and save on postage... Oh no wait hang on, I didn't want to buy loads that was the point.#-o

I will be sensible and order some samples.
