I get this some times on a forum in Australia ( not jewellery based ) I think people ask a question and don't get the answer they wanted so they disappear
Very frustrating, but the answers will be of value to other members and give rise to discussions. Its a lot better than having no posts at all for days on end, like visiting a haunted house. Dennis.
I think it’s been said in the past that people are so used to social media that they expect a notification of a reply.
It is however irritating if you’re only trying to help and you’re criticised for your advice even though the OP hasn’t bothered to come back and respond
