editing own posts

is it possible to edit your own posts after a few days?

I've a sneaking suspicion that may have been turned off to stop a few individuals from deleting all their posts in a fit of pique - it is a bit of a blunt instrument, unfortunately.

I shall check some more.

thanks, i think you should be able to delete or edit your own posts, no matter what, but all i want to do is edit one word

Any news on whether this has been turned off? I would like to add photos to a previous post and edit slightly for clarity
