Hello from SE London

Hello!

I'm Nicola, I'm one half of The Bijou Dragon, the other being my fiancé Patrick. We live in SE London and although I have been making beaded jewellery since 2006 using Silver Plated items and more recently Sterling Silver, we are just about to take the plunge into the real silversmithing world and as such are about to buy all the necessary tools to allow us to do this. It's a very exciting time for us and we are looking forward to experimenting with new techniques, ideas and designs.

I'm very much looking forward to learning lots from the other good people here and also helping out along the way.

Apart from the jewellery aspect I have a whole load of other hobbies ranging from 14th C Medieval Re-enactment through to collecting playing cards and close up magic tricks. We are also venturing into making certain musical instruments (purely for personal fun) such as the Hammered Dulcimer and Cittern to name but two.
