Lovely entries! good luck guys!
Sorry for the last minute post - I made these much earlier in the month...
They're little, patinated copper bats with flush set, googly orange cz eyes, flying in front of argentium moons - they look better on than off because they 'flutter' when worn!

I too have a last minute entry. I've been trying to make a spiders web pendant similar to a Victorian one I saw in an antique store. The web was relatively simple, the spider and fly ok... Soldering the spider and fly to the web a nightmare but all of that pales in comparison to trying to photograph it. Opals and polished silver are my enemies in photography!

We thought the piece demonstrated excellent saw piercing skills, and we loved the photography of the earrings. A perfect fit for this month's themed too, well done :)
Please email competitions@cooksongold.com with your contact details and Cooksongold account number so we can arrange for your prize to be sorted.
Congratulations again!
Jen
Well done susieq - they are super earrings!
Sally
susieq, Wonderful witches which deserved to win. Well done.
I love the cat and broomstick by Wallace, (reminds me of tabby from the worst witch) and Sally, your bats are really cute!
Well done Susieq!
I loved the last minutes entries too - those little bats are super-cute!
Congratulations Susisie. Enjoy your prize. Dennis.
Oh my - am almost lost for words, especially after only just seeing the late entries.
Natalie - I loved your spider and the architectural dimension the wire-wrapping gives it. Ceri - loved yours too. I agree about the photography, its taking me longer to photograph some of my things than it's taking to make them.
Sally - those bats are very cute - and the cz stones must have been tiny. I find flush setting a bit hit and miss sometimes and not sure I'd manage with two so close together.
Thank you Cookson, and everyone for your kind comments.
