I've only been on here for a week and you've already been a MASSIVE help

I can't tell you how much I've valued this forum since I found it a week ago. I'm new to jewellery making and have found it difficult to work out exactly what I need to set up my workbench just from looking at the Cooksons online catalogue. Although they describe the pieces they often don't say what goes with what so it's been a minefield. And then I found you lot! I've learned so much from searching the forum and can see I'm going to learn lots more over the course of my new love affair with making.

Don't start with a fully equipped workshop.
Buy a used copy of Two in One Manuals https://www.amazon.co.uk/Jewellery-T.../dp/1840921978.
It pictures the tools and describes all simple techniques.
Choose a simple project, and start with the tools for that. Dennis.
