They are lovely Cathy, I haven't ventured into lampwork and to my shame have to admit that I've only just been introduced to these lovelies that are made by some very talented people.
OMG I'm loving that Pink cab :)
Those are lovely Cathy. Do you work with a cab mandrel or are they slumped?
Can I ask what glass you've used for the lime green one - it's fabulously zingy!
I just do them off mandrel and flatten them with a masher.
Sometimes I slump them afterwards but not always- I'm ok with strange bumps for the most part.
All the glass is moretti- the lime green is etched so it looks like beach glass.
they are lots of fun to do..but I must admit I have lots of flops too.
the pink one has me mesmerised
stunning can be such an overused word, Cathy, but I can't think of a better one for these!
The more I see of your work the more I love it! Gorgeous cabs and gorgeous settings <3<3
WOW. Di's right, they are stunning.
You could lose yourself in the pink one, but they are all gorgeous.
fabulous... and I do love the pink one to! Actually sent me off looking for classes as I would love to be able to make those but can't find any :(
