Yeah, I'll be selling it. I have no need for it. Seems as though a couple of you guys are interested and as i dont want it to get into a bidding war i'll just offer it up on here in the classifieds at a fixed price.

Just sent an email off to Milnes Bros as they seem to be producing the motors as well these days. I'm now wondering if this motor i have was made for Milbro the model company (see above) if so that would place it before 1970 as Milbro toy company went out of business in the late sixties. then again this motor looks like it's just off the shop floor.
The Milnes Bros I knew were a company in an industrial estate near Croydon, specialising in motors for dental laboratories. They repaired them and had a large stash of second hand equipment to cannibalise and resuscitate for re sale. They also sold new.
No one there was called Milnes, but when forming a company it was simpler and more expedient to buy a defunct company ready set up.
They have grown since then, but are still dental specialists. Dennis.
So far i've found three companies with Milbro as a trading name.

Also found a Milbro meat trading company..appears to be a popular name.
My heads bursting trying to find out more. I'll just leave be me thinks.
Mystery solved at last. :Y:
