If you hadn't labelled it I'd have thought it was similar to Prehenite

Hmmmmm thought I might be able to help as I'm not too bad on the more popular semi precious stuff, but nothing comes to mind immediately.

How about moss agate??? Maybe ???

My first thought was a form of agate, but then I remembered I had some lemon jade that had white and greenish streaks through it. I've also had some yellow opal with similar markings but the colour was a warmer yellow. May be prehnite, but doesn't look green enough on my screen.

Have you tried taking the stone to a good jewellers?

I had a 5mm stone given to me years ago by an old friend and didn't have a clue what it was, took it to the shop and he told me what it was.

You never know, they might tell you for nothing?
