How to Make a 10mm solid silver bead / Ball from scrap silver.

Hello All,
Seeking advice and method on how to make a solid silver ball (Like a ballbearing) I have and used this type of ball purchased from
Pennelier some time ago in Hatton Garden. They were just silver beads. I need it to fit onto the cap of a Scottish dirk that I made as the one on it had been dropped on the ground and it was crushed. I could possibly make one from hot dropping but I could not guarantee the shape. Any instructions as to how to approach this would be apprectiate . I have read Tim Mc Creights book back to front and if you cannot suggest something then I will have to become a creative boffin again and find a way. Thank you in anticipation. Blackbear.
