Please lovely people I need help!
I have a dremel. Useless for polishing. I want an actual polishing motor. Where do you even start?
There are some on eBay for £50 and then others go up to £300...
What's the difference? What am I looking for. I just want to achieve high shine at a not too bigger cost. £150 Mark maximum.

You need at least 200 watts, because it is a pain if the machine is too weak and stalls when you press on it.
It is convenient to have a grinding wheel at one end, for instance to set up scorpers.
Variable speed, or two speed helps with plasics, which can overheat.
It is possible to buy a hobbyist bench grinder cheaply on line and simply substitute a polishing spindle for mops at one end.
Lastly allow spare cash for a polishing hood, or make you own, to save dust and splashes up your wall. Dennis.

I started off with a 1/2 hp double spindle motor which is what we'd used at ECA. I then laid out a humungous amount on a dustmasterbench polisher with extraction because nothing else was available, since then a lot of really great machines have come on the market which take up much less room and are much cheaper. I thought this looked a good one but still probably over your budget.
