No? Oh dear. Then there was the keen beginner who wanted to learn Gypsy setting but couldn’t afford a caravan.

O.K. Here’s my last shot: There were two jewellers who had shared a bench for years and knew each other’s jokes so well, that they remembered them by numbers.
The one on the left might say ‘ninety three’ and the other would fall about laughing. One day, the one on the right said ‘sixteen ‘, but there was no response. So he tried again, ‘sixteen’… Nothing.
‘Jim’ he said, ‘why aren’t you laughing? And Jim replied ‘You didn’t tell it right’.
