The simplest way is to heat the finished piece gently until it darkens, and then just rub lightly with a l
jewellery cloth to bring up some highlights.
Another way is to use liver of sulphur or a patented blackening solution, but drop the piece in when hot hot. Let us know how you get on, Dennis.
I’ve found that gold doesn't oxidise which personally is what I’d want. I usually oxidise the silver I’ve applied it to and the gold may darken slightly but doesn’t oxidise.
Can I ask why you’d want to oxidise gold?

I was thinking to add the darkness as an effect.
I saw some jewellery brand does it.
Unless it was pure gold, it should be oxidised? Coz these is little bit of copper and silver in the composition?

I use this to oxidise 9ct gold or maybe the metal thats not 9ct in the 9ct. It works well. you can see the result at the end of this little video.
