Finally finished it
I posted on the help forum about a month or so ago on setting a stone in this pendant, I was given some great idea's and techniques
After trying and failing I put the pendant down, along with many a blue word spoken.
Not being one to just give in I knuckled down and got on with it. Tried not to over-polish as I wanted the depth to be clear.
Finally finished, Iolite organic pendant.
Thanks so much for your advice and all the other threads really as it encourages me immensely.

That looks very tactile, I just want to feel it! Lovely design.

A wonderful result, Summer. I like the movement it seems to create. And I'm instantly drawn blue stones. Glad you didn't give in :)))

Worked out well in the end.

Blue stones and blue expletives. The result was worth it though. Dennis.

I'm feeling more confident with the faceted stones, I did try making a fancy collet yesterday, cut and shaped it, drilled holes and filed groves, soldered it all well.. then you know how it is you think oh i'll just heat that up a bit ... durrr .. tourch was to high and ..... flop, a hour over in a flash lol, oh well got some practise in lol.
