Hey Vos, good to see you back mate :)
Hope all is going well.
Good to see you're set up and working on stuff again Vos!!
This reminds me of when a man applied for a job as a labourer on a construction site. The forman opened a shed and said take your pick and the man had a nervous breakdown.
Hubby bought me an antique rolling mill for my birthday (not until August, but it's a big one!) It's a thing of beauty, needs a good clean and a bit of TLC, but the rollers seem in decent condition and I love it simply as an object. Made in Birmingham around late 1890s by Mark Morton & Son.
Before I clean the rollers properly, I plan to roll some pieces of copper and silver through it, to preserve some of its past. Attachment 7538
WoW!! Those truly are beautiful <3<3 .....I like your idea of rolling some sheet before doing any work on them to preserve some of their past :)
Here is my little workshop room (aka the dining room!). Basic but functional, I need to sort out all the bags and boxes of beads and get some more storage in there, but all my tools have somewhere to live now. Attachment 7607Attachment 7608
It'll never be as clean and tidy again, but that's good too. Dennis.
