You did a good job on all those little sparklers, Wallace.
I guess that daisy necklace had healing properties for you Wendy and you'll be keeping it in the family.
Regards to both, Dennis.

Here's my entry, sneaking in at the eleventh hour. I haven't had much chance to work on jewellery for the last few months, but I really wanted to make this one. Inspired by Aristotle, the flight of swallows, Art Nouveau curves, and one bad pun (which I'll let you figure out for yourselves ;)).
Once I had the design worked out, this was rather fun to make. Although, like Keia, I had some interesting times soldering it with my little hand torch. The necklet wires aren't as wonky as they look in the pic - it was just difficult to get it arranged gracefully for the photo without a bust to put it on.

Very graceful swallows, Elynor. Come on, Explain the pun and I'll swallow it. Dennis.
I'll let one of the stone experts come along and explain it to you, Dennis. ;)
The Swallow necklace is really beautiful, Eirish!
Lovely work Elynor :)
The swallow necklace is just lovely. The curves have a beautiful flow and you have caught the swallows just right!
Thanks for the lovely comments, Dennis, Spring and Wallace! It's such fun to participate in these - I love seeing all the different interpretations of the theme.
And since no one seems to be figuring it out...the stone is amazonite. Swallows and Amazonite.
Thank you Kimkie, too - we must have cross posted. :)
Some gorgeous entries and 'just for show' piccies too, beautiful designs and work! It's going to be interesting to see who is announced winner tomorrow!!
Good luck all!!
