I've taken the plunge and bought a barrel polisher, and I'm just looking through the set up instructions. I need to condition the barrel with shot, water and barrelling powder. However, the 'all included' set has soap, not powder. Can I use this? If not, what is in the barreling powder? Is there a substitute I can safely use?
