This is the piece that caused me all the problems yesterday - the one I ran out of 1.2mm wire for...
I'm quite pleased with it. The beads were sent to me by Rob to make a display piece for his site.

Ooh, lovely. The shells complement the beads really well. :Y:
I've been trying to stay away from Rob's site because I'm not convinced I can make anything that would do his beads justice yet - but it keeps getting harder!

Well, to celebrate his birthday he's having a sale on Nov 15th. Usually things are priced at £7.99 on these occasions, so it might be worth a look then.

Cheers guys. The colours reminded me of rock pools - hence the shells.

They're lampwork beads. You can get some really stunning ones. My current fave are from Annelyse (http://www.annelysetaylor.co.uk/index.htm). The ones in the necklace are 'pebble' beads - all higgledy piggledy sizes and quite organic.

Rob's eBay shop is at Beads of Glass (http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Beads-Of-Glass). I thought I'd link it because he doesn't seem to have a direct link from his website [-X (or at least not one I found!)

I thought I'd already posted, but perhaps I was going too quickly (get me with my liberated fingers!)
It's great Di - and now I understand the questions about the thong - which looks like it works really well :)
Bet you're pleased to have another box ticked this week!

Better not upset me, eh?
To be honest, I find wrapping easier with thicker gauges cos its easier to maneouvre the wraps into the right place.
