Well for me anyway....

THE CAST'S OFF!!!

I have a very wobbly, very weak, very white arm. One of the bones hasn't healed, and if it doesn't settle in a couple of months they'll just remove the bit that's floating, but the big break's fine. And so is the ankle. What a relief!

I start physio on Thursday, but I'm told using pliers is one of the best things I could be doing.

I'm so pleased, I'm going to have a biscuit!

Fabulous news for you. Don't overdo it though, work it up gently.

I started making jewellery to strengthen my joints due to a problem that had been treated since I was about 12 as arthritis, but then they decided was a soft tissue problem, so working it would be good, after years of being careful. It's worked a treat fro me, very little pain these days and very strong hands that are much better coordinated. Usually.

Great news. I don't know how you've put up with it for so long without moaning. I'd have been on here moaning every day. I mustn't "waffle" on!

Great news George. When my wrist came out of the plaster my skin was sooo soft. Pity it didn't stay that way.

Indeed good news George....I've had some discount brand Special Flakes with red berries to celebrate with you (saving money and eating healthily - they taste just the same as the expensive ones!)
