Wedding ring blanks

I have been asked, as a favour, to finish a wedding ring blank, bought from cookies, in white gold, this is a new one for me, as most of my work is my own, and in silver and a small amount of yellow gold, are these blanks ready for polishing,and any tips for polishing white gold, I would be grateful for any advice,
