I do a lot of products and have a small business involving a specific size of cup chain and customizing different colours. I am looking to add brooches into what I'm doing. However I haven't been able to find empty cup chain brooches for only the size I work with (ss29).
So it got me thinking, I have tons of empty cup chain (by the meter), and brooch backings/pins come in bulk, what are my options for making them? I could stick the cups together to form a row, and then stick the back on the back. Soldering kind of scares me, and I'm not sure if the metal I'm using would all be compatible with it. I'm also not sure I want to get that deep into it, as this is a sort of "on the side" part of what I'm doing. Is there a metal/metal glue that's just really good? Something strong enough that I would still be selling a good product?
