Foredom handpiece

Hi guys, sorry I can’t do a search as on my phone. My foredom no 20 handpiece has died and it’s 6 months out of warranty (not sure if the handpiece was covered anyway?) it’s the lever it gradually got stiffer and then wouldn’t release the burr at all, my husband has taken it apart but I think it’s unsaveable [emoji30] is it worth me querying anything with foredom or should I just suck it up and buy a new handpiece? If so does anyone recommend any over this one? The slim one possibly? Thanks

Have you serviced it ?
You can buy a service kit from Suttons and also replacement colletts.
I have both handpicks and much prefer the 20 to the slim one.

I would inquire with Foredom my not achieve a result although I have always found them to be very supportive
