9ct gold casting grain vs 9ct DF grain - what is difference???

Wanting to buy some 9ct grain to melt down and hand hammer out onto a disk (have run out of my scrap gold for this style...) what is difference between the 2 9ct grain products on Cookson??? ANY help appreciated xxx

Hi ,just checked an old Cookson catalogue; the CY [AAB 000] casting grain "contains silicon and other additivesw to assist the flow of metal. Not suitable for cuttlefish casting or sheet/wire ingot mould or skillet casting. "
