This is a brooch I made recently for my 'mother in law' out of vintage buttons. I made a few mistakes on the way, but it was still a lovely brooch and Eileen loved it. Can't wait to make the next one. It's a bit rough around the edges - the next one will be better.

Again, I love these and would never have thought of using antique buttons that way - where's my grandmother's button tin gone!!

That's really lovely, when I was little I swear all my clothes had buttons like that!

That's gorgeous, I want one! I have bags of buttons, I used to use them al ot at uni. How did you attach them at the back? :confused:

I created a brooch pin thing - you can see the back of the brooch in the blog post so have a look at that - not got time to post a pic, sorry...got to dash

shame I messed up on the front eh...the back of the brooch looks great!
