I do - all the time.
Be carful not to leave it in too long though, or the finish will wear off.

I tumble oxidised pieces for a minimum of six hours, and usually at least overnight. I've never had a problem with the finish wearing off - that would suggest that it hadn't set well in the first place. I also happily mix it up with non-oxidised pieces with no ill-effects.
