Well, a very unusual and rather delightful thing happened last week: the aqua, pink sapphire and diamond ring I made two weeks ago was purchased by a Chinese tourist!
Generally speaking when a Chinese coach party arrives in town they make a frantic dash to photograph the town's many beauty spots then climb back on the coach and head for Bath. This time a number of them came in the shop and one lady asked to try on this ring. It fitted perfectly (size P) and she bought it.

Earlier that morning a Russian lady bought a nice heavy five-stone diamond ring out of the window too. I'm thinking of changing the name of the business to Martin White International!
